Global Events Travels Reviews 2026: What 1,500+ Reviews Really Say
On this page
⚡ Quick Answer
Global Events Travels reviews are strongly positive in 2026. The Manali-based Himalayan trek operator holds 4.9/5 from 56 Tripadvisor reviews, ranks #2 of 198 tours and activities in Manali, and won a Travellers' Choice 2026 award. Its Google listing near Kasol shows about 4.8/5 across roughly 1,469 reviews. Trekkers mostly praise guides, camp food and safety. A few 2025 Hampta Pass reviews criticised food and trek-leader conduct. Call +91 96000 36667.
It's 11:40 PM, and You Have Three Trek Company Tabs Open
You have found the trek. Maybe it's Kedarkantha for New Year, or Hampta Pass next June. The dates work, and your friends have finally said yes. Now one small step remains: paying the advance. So you open a new tab and type "global events travels reviews". You scroll, you squint at the stars, and you wonder whether any of it is real.
That doubt is reasonable. A LocalCircles survey of 60,000 Indians across 324 districts found that 6 in 10 online travel bookers felt the information shown at booking didn't match reality. Most people still glance at the star rating, see "4.8", and pay. Careful trekkers do something different. They read the 1-star reviews, check two platforms, and match reviews to the exact trek and month they plan to book.
This page does that work for you, openly. We collected public Global Events Travels reviews from Tripadvisor and Google, including the critical ones. You'll see what trekkers love, what went wrong, and an 8-point checklist you can use on any Himalayan operator, including us.
A trek company is only as good as its worst batch. So read the worst reviews first.
Global Events Travels Ratings at a Glance (Verified October 2026)
Here are the numbers, platform by platform. We checked every figure on 23 October 2026.

That last row matters. Kullu district (home to Manali and Kasol) drew more visitors than any other part of Himachal Pradesh in 2025. That means many operators are competing for your booking, and reviews are how you tell them apart.

Where to Read Global Events Travels Reviews — and How Much to Trust Each
Not every review source deserves equal weight. Here's how to read each one.
| Where | Who controls it | Strength | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| WhereTripadvisor | Who controls itIndependent platform | StrengthRuns its own trust & safety checks; shows trip type and month | Watch out forSmaller sample (56 reviews) |
| WhereGoogle Maps | Who controls itIndependent platform | StrengthLargest volume (~1,469); many reviews name guides and treks | Watch out forShort reviews like "nice trip" carry little detail |
| WhereInstagram (@global_events_travels) | Who controls itGlobal Events Travels | StrengthReal trail photos and reels from recent batches | Watch out forCurated by us, so treat it as a showcase, not a review |
| WhereTrek pages on globaleventstravels.com | Who controls itGlobal Events Travels | StrengthPer-trek ratings help you compare routes | Watch out forFirst-party data. Cross-check against Google and Tripadvisor |
India also has a formal standard for this. The Bureau of Indian Standards published IS 19000:2022 for online consumer reviews. It names fake positive reviews written by sellers as a known problem. It also sets rules for how platforms collect, moderate and publish reviews. That is why independent platforms deserve more weight than any operator's own website, ours included.
What Trekkers Praise Most in Global Events Travels Reviews
We read the most recent public reviews on both platforms. Five patterns keep showing up.
1. Guides who trekkers remember by name
The strongest signal in any trek review is when people name their guide. Many Global Events Travels reviews do. A repeat trekker wrote on Google in December 2025: "Our trek leaders, Sanjay and Sachin, felt more like friends than guides." A Hampta Pass + Chandratal trekker in July 2025 named Daya, Sanoj Rawat and Manju as guides who "have gone above and beyond."
Generic praise is easy to fake. Specific names, treks and months are much harder to fake.
2. Camp food at 3,000 m+
Food is where many budget Himalayan operators cut corners. In our reviews, food comes up again and again. A Kedarkantha trekker wrote in October 2025: "Every meal felt like a reward after a long day of trekking." A September 2026 Tripadvisor review of Hampta Pass called out an "experienced guide and tasty food."
3. Summit-day support
Summit day decides whether a trek feels like a win or a struggle. Reviews of the Kedarkantha summit (3,810 m, Uttarakhand) mention guides who motivated slower trekkers. One guide, Surendar Singh Panwar, even gave "physical support when the climb got tough."
4. Smooth logistics from pickup to base camp
Multi-day Himalayan treks involve buses, homestays, permits and mule loads. Reviews repeatedly mention "perfectly arranged stays" and "smooth logistics." One family who booked a Kasol–Shimla–Manali trip from Delhi said the service was "beyond my expectations."
5. A Plan B when the mountain says no
This one rarely makes it into marketing, but it matters most. In October 2025, a college group booked for Hampta Pass hit bad weather. The team switched them to a Tosh + Kheerganga route in Himachal Pradesh instead of cancelling. The group then caught the season's first snowfall at Kheerganga. Weather-based route changes are a sign of an operator that puts safety first.

The Negative Global Events Travels Reviews — Read These Too
A 4.8 average still means some trekkers left unhappy. If we hid that, you wouldn't trust anything else on this page. Here's what the critical reviews say, in summary.
| When | Trek | Complaint theme | What you should ask before booking |
|---|---|---|---|
| WhenJune 2025 | TrekHampta Pass | Complaint themeFood quality and hygiene; a trek leader's rude language; alcohol and drug use at camp that wasn't stopped | What you should ask before booking"What is your alcohol and substance policy at camp, and who enforces it?" |
| WhenAugust 2025 | TrekHampta Pass (batch sold through a partner agency) | Complaint themeDisorganised management; trek leader dismissive; itinerary not followed | What you should ask before booking"Is my batch run directly by your team, or by a partner agency?" |
| WhenJanuary 2026 | TrekWinter trek | Complaint themeOverall "very good", but the toilet-tent experience was poor in sub-zero cold | What you should ask before booking"How many toilet tents per group, and how are they maintained in snow?" |
Two lessons come out of this.
First, ask who actually runs your batch. One of the harshest reviews came from a batch booked through a partner agency. In Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, many treks are resold through several agencies. The name on the receipt may not match the team on the trail. Always confirm the operating team in writing.
Second, low-star reviews are useful, not scary. A detailed complaint tells you exactly what to ask the operator. Five vague 5-star reviews don't tell you much. Use the right-hand column above as your question list, whichever company you book with.
"The best trek operators don't have zero bad reviews. They have bad reviews that are specific, rare and answered."

How to Verify Any Trek Company's Reviews Before You Pay (8-Point Checklist)
Use this on Global Events Travels. Use it on every other Himalayan operator too. It takes about 20 minutes.
-
Check at least two independent platforms. Compare Google and Tripadvisor. A big gap between them is a red flag.
-
Sort by "Newest", not "Most relevant". A great 2022 doesn't guarantee a great 2026. Read the last 3 months.
-
Read every 1- and 2-star review. Look for patterns. One bad batch is bad luck. The same complaint five times points to a system problem.
-
Match the trek and the month. A glowing Kheerganga review tells you little about Kedarkantha in January at -10°C.
-
Ask who runs your batch. Confirm in writing that the operator's own team leads your group, not a resold partner.
-
Ask for guide credentials and the group ratio. Ask which certified guide is assigned and how many trekkers each guide leads. Smaller groups get more attention.
-
Ask about altitude safety. For treks above 3,500 m, ask about pulse oximeters, oxygen, and the descent plan if someone develops AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness).
-
Read the cancellation policy before paying. Weather closes passes. Know whether you get a refund, a date change, or an alternate route. Ours is at[ /cancellation-refund/](https://globaleventstravels.com/cancellation-refund?utm_source=Global Events Travels Reviews 2026: What 1,500+ Reviews Really Say).

Q5. Are Global Events Travels reviews genuine?
The most reliable reviews sit on independent platforms such as Google Maps and Tripadvisor. Tripadvisor says it runs its own trust and safety checks. Many reviews name specific guides, treks and months, which is hard to fake at scale. India's BIS standard IS 19000:2022 also sets rules for publishing online reviews. Read the newest and lowest-rated reviews on both platforms before deciding.
Q6. What are the most common complaints in Global Events Travels reviews?
The few critical reviews mention three things. Some 2025 Hampta Pass batches had complaints about food and trek-leader behaviour. Ask in writing who runs your batch and what the camp rules are.
Q7. Which Global Events Travels trek has the best reviews?
On the company's own trek pages, Kedarkantha scores highest at 4.9 from 256 ratings. It is a 5N/6D winter trek in Uttarakhand, reaching 3,810 m. Hampta Pass follows at 4.8 from 124 ratings.
